monday the thirteenth

these pictures were taken at 11.53am, monday 13 february...

it's so totally obvious to me that if these pricks would leave us and the skies alone, then we would most probably have had a beautiful day.

as i went about my business in the wellington area on this day it was the same everywhere. as far out as upper hutt the sky was a hazy patchwork of aerosol shite. tuesday was the same too, as far as upper hutt and out as far as waikanae, more of the same. aerosol, aerosol, aerosol. blahblahblah!

and here we are on wednesday morning and they've forecasted rain for the entire country, basically. we haven't had any rain so far, but the skies are pretty cloudy. hidden in amongst that cloud is something my eyes are becoming quite familiar with...

spotted through the break in the clouds, where the fluffy white on the bottom gives way to blue sky below the gray rainy looking clouds i see the bright white smear of muck that says to me 'chem'. no doubt it's plastered up there, ready to drop its payload in the coming rain?
